An upper Bordeaux from the Libournais: Château Puycarpin is located near Castillon-la-Bataille, in the town of Belvès de Castillon, a dozen kilometers east of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard, which blossoms on a hillside facing south, a steep terroir and sunny, enjoys a remarkable sunshine resulting in a perfect ripening of its Merlot grapes (majority), cabernet-sauvignon, supplemented by a hint of malbec.
The vineyard is followed in a traditional way, in phytosanitary reasoned protection, so as to increase the positive effects on the quality of the vintage and to reduce as much as possible the harmful effects on the environment.
