The vineyard is spread over 14.5 ha in one piece, in the municipality of Saint Maurice sur Eygues. The vines, which are about 40 years old, are rooted in a bed of rolled pebbles. The whole property is exposed North / North East on a clay-limestone plateau at 390 meters altitude, warmed by the sun of the Drôme Provençale. With the winemaker experience of the Fabre de Rouville passed down for generations, François and Adrien Fabre work their vineyard with passion and fervor to give the wine all its character. The name of the Estate comes directly from their ancestor Guillaume de Rouville who was Alderman of Lyon in 1586 and who owned properties in the Rhone Valley.
The management of the vineyard is done in the excellence of the tradition, in the greatest respect of the environment, taking into account the influence of the fauna, the flora and the stars for the full expression of the aromas of the grape. These wines are the pure expression of the terroir; noble wines, accessible, elegant, with the character of velvet and spices. They portray the passion and meticulousness with which they like to elaborate them.

The domaines de l’Echevin and La Florane are vinified in the same cellar in Visan, in the heart of the Domaine la Florane, extending on the side of a valley facing south 250 to 350 meters above sea level, called Coste hot in Provençal (sunny hillside).
