The terroir of Château de Coudot sits on the gravel found on Cussac Fort-Médoc. Only 3 kms away from prestigious Chateau Beychevelle 4ème Cru Classé in St Julien.

The Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) stands on the gravel of the terrace, the Merlot (35%) likes the lighter land and the Cabernet Franc (5%) finds its balance on dry and well-drained soils.

The 9,60 hectares of the AOC Haut Médoc Cru Artisan of high quality are taken care by the skillful hands of its winemaker who doesn’t hesitate to proceed to several sorting before putting them in the vat so as to get perfectly healthy and ripe berries. The vines are fed exclusively by contributions of natural organic matter determined according to regular soil analyzes. Whether for the cultivation of vines or in wine-making processes, respect for the environment is an imperative for the three brothers Blanchard, Joel, Daniel and Rémy.
